Abraham Lincoln - But we have forgotton God!
A sure way to stop the oil leak - oil leak picture
Intoxicated - quote from Abraham Lincoln

The Solution to the oil spill
The President of the United States of America tells U.S. he is in charge of controlling the oil leak in the Gulf but the leak goes on. Mr. Obama says he has modeled his image after his idol President Abraham Lincoln also from Illinois.

Here is a solution that
We The People can count on: Abraham Lincoln, a great American and fearless leader, when faced with trials and tribulations and a dilemma of biblical proportions - ending the Civil War and slavery, chose and implemented a strategy that changed our history and destiny.

Lincoln prayed to our Lord and Savior and asked all Americans to join with him to pray for peace and freedom. He issued not one, but several presidential proclamations including the Emancipation Proclamation and a Proclamation for a National Day of Prayer and Repentance.

All Americans were urged to pray on this day and soon after the war ended, the nation was united and free. Our nation was “fundamentally transformed” by God not man. God answers prayers.

Mr. Obama, so far we have pulled out all the stops and no man has been able to stop the leaking Big Horizon oil well that has caused a national disaster. Stopping the drilling will not stop the problem, only magnify it. Have you forgotten that America is One Nation Under Godand thatIn God We Trustis our national motto?

We are now facing a major crisis in our land. The Holy Bible upon which this nation was founded gives us our Lord’s words for such a time as this:

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).
We The People

The Hebrew prophet Jeremiah declared:

“Go, proclaim this message toward the north: " `Return, faithless Israel ,' declares the LORD, `I will frown on you no longer, for I am merciful,' declares the LORD, `I will not be angry forever. Only acknowledge your guilt-- you have rebelled against the LORD your God (Jeremiah 3:12-13)

God will heal our land when His people return to Him. After all He created the earth and everything that is in it including the oil. He can stop the leak with one word from His lips and provide all the oil and new sources of energy we will ever need. Forget about silly wind mills and green jobs. Depend on the Lord and He will provide for U.S.

America can learn from His story - We too are God’s people and like ancient Israel , if we turn back from our rebellious ways, turn to the Lord and take a lesson from History, God will heal our nation and plug the leak. The price to U.S. will be minimal. There is no charge for God’s miracle power!  It won’t cost us a dime. All we need to do is spend a little time with GOD on our knees in prayer!

Abraham Lincoln knew this truth and asked Americans to humble themselves in prayer and repentance. Abraham Lincoln called in the year of our Lord 1863, for America to set apart a Day for National Prayer and Humiliation: This can be a model for our time. See for yourself:

We The People call upon president Obama to proclaim a National Day of National Humiliation Fasting and Prayer

WHEREAS, We The People of the United States, devoutly recognizing the Supreme Authority and Just Government of Almighty God, in all the affairs of men and of nations request the President to designate and set apart a day for National prayer and humiliation:

And whereas, it is the duty of nations as well as of men, to owe their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord:

And, in so much as we know that, by His divine law, nations, like individuals, are subjected to punishments and chastisements in this world, may we not justly fear that the awful calamity of war, natural and man-made disasters, which now desolate the land, may be but a punishment inflicted upon us for our presumptuous sins, to the needful end of our national reformation as a whole People?

We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven. We have been preserved, these many years, in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth, and power as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us! It behooves us, then to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our national sins, and to pray for clemency and forgiveness.

Now, therefore, in compliance with the request, and fully concurring in the views of the Senate, I do, by this proclamation, designate and set apart the day of week, the____________day of July, 2010, as a day of national humiliation, fasting, and prayer. And I do hereby request all the People to abstain on that day from their ordinary secular pursuits, and to unite, at their several places of public worship and their respective homes, in keeping the day holy to the Lord, and devoted to the humble discharge of the religious duties proper to that solemn occasion.

All this being done, in sincerity and truth, let us then rest humbly in the hope authorized by the Divine teachings, that the united cry of the Nation will be heard on high, and answered with blessings, no less than the pardon of our national sins, and the restoration of our now divided and suffering country, to its former happy condition of unity and peace.

In witness whereof, I have here unto set my hand, and caused the seal of the United States to be affixed.

Done at the city of Washington this __ day of ________, in the year of our Lord two thousand and ten, and of the Independence of the United States the two hundred and thirty-fourth.

Hillary Rodham Clinton, Secretary of State

Should President Obama decline to issue this Proclamation, then let the U.S. – We The People – take charge of the oil spill and heed the words of the Lord proclaiming on our own, “In God We Trust” and seek His forgiveness in prayer, fasting and repentance that He will hear our prayers and heal our land.
